I am not exaggerating in the slightest when I say I had the best chocolate chip cookie of my life from Batter & Dough. This cookie was THICK and when broken in half the chips were perfectly gooey. This midday treat had me needing a nap after it was so incredible. I would eat this cookie every single day if my hips wouldn't pay the price.

We got a few cupcakes and some cookies to try out. Everything was AMAZING! The texture of the cookie was so chewy and perfect and the cake texture was amazing as well. Will absolutely be returning!! Such a friendly staff too!

This place has the best cookies ever! Always get the chocolate chip and red velvet crackle cookies. Everything I've tried there is fantastic. Staff is friendly and helpful. A little pricey, but worth it

Batter and Dough is the definition of "hidden gem." I've ordered dessert from this little bakery a couple times over the years, and everything I've ordered has been delicious. Want cookies? Take your pick - they have everything from chocolate chip to red velvet to decorated Oreos. Brownies? They got them. Cannoli? Yep, got them too. Cake pops? Sure! And as a bonus, they have hot chocolate bombs too. That said, I highly recommend that you get a cupcake or two in your order. Batter and Dough serves up your "basics" (chocolate and vanilla cupcakes) but they also offer more unique options that change over time. I just looked online and they're whipping up Almond Strawberry and Blueberry Vanilla cupcakes right now - yum! One word of advice: don't rely on pictures if you're using an app to order your goodies. I really wanted the s'mores cupcakes for my birthday recently, in part because their picture showed amazing flame-pattern icing atop the cupcake, complete with marshmallow and one piece of Hershey chocolate . Alas, the picture of the cupcake had been added to the brownie section of the app, and so I goofed and ordered the "wrong" thing without realizing it. The brownie was perfectly delicious - a decadent brownie topped with graham crumbs and marshmallow and chocolate drizzle? A wonderful dessert, for sure; just not as pretty as those campfire-inspired cupcakes. Oh well. Digital missteps (and customer error) aside, Batter and Dough is absolutely a wonderful addition to Bridgeville. Check them out the next time your sweet tooth strikes!

I love this family-owned, woman-owned bakery. The treats just keep getting better and better. I love to run in and grab their prepackaged boxes as gifts. The cookies are my absolute favorite.

Stopped in on the weekend and was surprised by how many different items they could fit into that tiny shop! The staff were friendly and helped me immediately. I purchased an oatmeal raisin cookie, a boston cream cupcake, and two chocolate dipped pretzel rods that were football inspired. The oatmeal raisin cookie was so good! The oats were obvious - huge, delicious chunks. The cookie also had a noticeably strong flavor of vanilla, which I loved. I'm not a cupcake fan, usually, because I don't like typical icing. The boston cream cupcake was exactly like a mini boston cream pie. The icing was thick chocolate ganache style and the filling was perfect. The pretzel rods were as expected! Salty sweet combo. I loved everything. The only reason I struggle giving the place 5 stars is because I feel the $4.50 for the average/regular sized cupcake is a little steep Maybe for some of the more over-the-top style cupcakes, but not the more basic ones. Could just be a sign of the times/inflation. Flavor and quality are an A+, though.

The cupcakes and cake pops are fantastic! I went for the Taylor swift themed desserts and will definitely be back

Great selection of deliciousness. Will definitely be back soon. The drunkin pumpkin cupcakes are awesome.

This is a cute, local, downtown shop so I was eager to support them! I went in to quickly pick up a dessert to bring to an October gathering. Not wanting the giant assortment box for over $50, my only "packaged" party-ready option seemed to be the $25 thick cookie cake. It was a good choice -- the cookie was decorated in fall colored frosting, with leaves and pumpkins -- very pretty, and perfect for the football party. The down side was that it was a little less than fresh. It was probably sitting there for a day or two before I came along to buy it. But nevertheless, I'm glad I made that choice and glad I discovered Batter & Dough!
